Football is a passion in Brazil and they have some of the most impressive football stadiums in world football, many of which were renovated or constructed for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The most famous of them all is the MaracanĂ£ in Rio de Janeiro, which when constructed in 1950 saw a world record crowd of 199,854 watch the 1950 FIFA World Cup Final. Other large stadiums in the country include the EstĂ¡dio Nacional de BrasĂlia ManĂ© Garrincha in BrasĂlia, MineirĂ£o in Belo Horizonte and Arena Corinthians in SĂ£o Paulo.
