Football is a passion in Brazil and they have some of the most impressive football stadiums in world football, many of which were renovated or constructed for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The most famous of them all is the Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro, which when constructed in 1950 saw a world record crowd of 199,854 watch the 1950 FIFA World Cup Final. Other large stadiums in the country include the Estádio Nacional de Brasília Mané Garrincha in Brasília, Mineirão in Belo Horizonte and Arena Corinthians in São Paulo.
