CONCACAF Gold Cup

The Gold Cup is a men’s football competition for international sides from CONCACAF, the football confederation of North America (including Central America and the Caribbean). First held in 1963, the current holders are the USA who defeated Jamaica in the 2017 Final.


When is the Gold Cup?

The Gold Cup is held every 2 years, usually in July. The 2019 Gold Cup is taking place between the 15th June and 7th July 2019.


Where is the Gold Cup?

The 2019 Gold Cup is primarily being hosted by the USA, with Costa Rica and Jamaica hosting double headers in the group stages. Matches are being played at the following venues:

The Final will be held at Soldier Field on the 7th July 2019.


Who is competing in the Gold Cup?

Six teams qualified after participating in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying Hexagonal (Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Honduras, USA and Trinidad & Tobago), whilst the remaining 10 qualified through the CONCACAF Nations League qualifying (Haiti, Canada, Martinique, Curaçao, Bermuda, Cuba, Guyana, Jamaica, Nicaragua and El Salvador).
