2028 will see the return of the Summer Olympics to Los Angeles, the City of Angels in California becoming the third city to host the biggest sports events of them all for a third time (1932 and 1984) after London and Paris. International football will also take centre stage in June as the 2028 Copa América will be held in Paraguay and UEFA Euro 2028 takes place (hosts to be confirmed). Australia and New Zealand will jointly host the 2028 T20 World Cup, whilst in Golf the Presidents Cup and Solheim Cup take place in September.
