Background

Home to Southampton Football Club since they moved from The Dell in 2001, St Mary’s Stadium has hosted a senior England international match in 2002 against Macedonia, an England women’s match against Wales in 2018 and several England Under-21 fixtures.


Location & Travel

Airport: Southampton Airport is 4 miles north of St Mary’s and serves more than 50 UK and European destinations, including Leeds/Bradford, Manchester and Newcastle. Southampton Airport Parkway station has frequent trains to Southampton Central.

Bus: The closest bus stop to St Mary’s is on Britannia Road, approximately a 5 minute walk from the stadium. Bluestar buses 3, 9 16 and the 18 all run from the city centre to Britannia Road.

Coach: Southampton Coach Station is nearby to the city centre, with National Express having links to many destinations, you can search and book your tickets here.

Alternatively, most clubs will offer a coach service if purchasing away tickets.

Driving: Parking in the area around St Mary’s is not really an option, there are however several multi-storey car parks in the city and within walking distance of the stadium including: Bedford Place (SO15 2QW), Grosvenor Square (SO15 2GR), West Park Road (SO15 1AP), Marlands (SO15 1BA) and Eastgate (SO14 3HH).

Train: Southampton Central train station is approximately a 20 minute walk from the stadium or there is a shuttle bus available 2½ hours before kick off and 45 minutes after the final whistle for £3 return.

There are frequent services to London Waterloo, Bournemouth and Portsmouth, as well as other services to Birmingham New Street, Brighton, Bristol Temple Meads, Cardiff Central, Manchester Piccadilly, Newcastle and Oxford,

Tickets

Demand for tickets at St Mary’s vary depending on the category of opposition. If you have not purchased tickets previously, you will have to register as a new customer and will only be able to purchase tickets during the General Sale period.

Ticket prices for the 2018/19 season are as follows:

Adult: £39-£52 (Cat A), £32-£46 (Cat B)

Concession: £27-£52 (Cat A), £22-£46 (Cat B)

18-21: £23-£52 (Cat A), £19-£46 (Cat B)

U18: £19-£52 (Cat A), £16-£46 (Cat B)

U11: £12-£52 (Cat A), £8-£46 (Cat B)
