Italy v England – 2020 Six Nations

The penultimate match of the 2020 Six Nations see’s Italy host England at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. This match was due to be played on the 14th March 2020, however was postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic and will now be held on the 31st October 2020.

In the 2019 fixture, England hammered the Italians at Twickenham, winning 57-14 as they rolled in eight tries (see below). The sides meant again last year, as they played a World Cup warm-up fixture in Newcastle with England once again comfortably winning 37-0.

Air – Rome has two major airports: Leonardo da Vinci Airport – Fiumicino which is 40 km from the Stadio Olimpico, whilst Rome Ciampino Airport is 35km away.

From Leonardo da Vinci Airport, you will need to take a train to Termini central station, Tiburtina or Ostiense and then change to the subway as below. For Ciampino Airport, you will need to catch a bus to Termini station for the subway.
