Round 4 of the 2022 Formula One season is the return of the 2022 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix at the Imola Circuit in Imola, Italy. The Emilia Romagna Grand Prix was added to the calendar in 2020 to bolster the calendar in Europe after the Covid-19 pandemic had caused issues and ran again successfully in 2021. The 2021 race was won by Max Verstappen after passing Lewis Hamilton in the first corner and led for the rest of the race.
