2021 Styrian Grand Prix (Formula One)

Round 8 of the 2021 Formula One season is the 2021 Styrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria. The race was originally scheduled to be the Canadian Grand Prix at Montreal’s Circuit Gilles Villeneuve however this was cancelled and replaced by the Turkish Grand Prix because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Turkish Grand Prix was subsequently cancelled due to travel restrictions to the country from the UK where many of the teams are based and replaced by a second race in Austria, with the 2021 Austrian Grand Prix being held a week later. This will be the second successive year Austria has hosted a double header, with Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton winning the 2020 Styrian Grand Prix.

The nearest international airport is at Graz, located approximately an hour away from the circuit. The airport does have domestic flights and mainly flights to central Europe. The larger Vienna International Airport offers a wider range of destinations and is located approximately two hours drive from the Red Bull Ring.
