Round 9 of the 2021 Formula One season is the 2021 Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria. The 2020 Austrian Grand Prix ended up being the opening round of the 2020 season after the delay caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Valtteri Bottas of Mercedes won the race after qualifying on pole and leading every lap of the race. Racing returned to the circuit just a week later as the Styrian Grand Prix was held and this time won by Lewis Hamilton.
