England’s 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification Group

England traditionally have a good record of qualifying for major records and will be hoping their qualification group for the 2022 FIFA World Cup will be no different. There biggest challenge will be Poland, ranked 19th in the world and fronted by Robert Lewandowski. Other difficult tests will come against fellow UEFA Euro 2020 qualifiers Hungary as well Albania, who have given Europe’s biggest nations a tough test in recent years. Rounding off the group of six will be minnows San Marino and Andorra.

Matches will be played as triple headers in March and September, with double headers in October and November 2021. The top team in the group will qualify for the World Cup being held in Qatar in November 2022, with the team finishing second entering the play-offs to be held in March 2022.
