England play their first sixth match of their 2022 FIFA World Cup group as they play Poland. England last played away at Poland in October 2012 in a 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier, drawing 1-1 at Stadion Narodowy in Warsaw thanks to a goal from Wayne Rooney.

Travel Information

Warsaw Chopin Airport is Poland’s largest airport and also one of the busiest in Central Europe. It offers domestic flights to Kraków, Wrocław and Gdańsk as well as a large number of international services all across the world. The airport has its own rail station with services to Warsaw running every 15 minutes and is just 10 kilometres away.

The much smaller Warsaw Modlin Airport is 40 kilometres north of the city and mainly offers low-cost services across Europe. There is a coach service from the airport to Warsaw or shuttle services run to nearby Modlin for the 25 minute trip to the city.
