Wales and Austria will face off in a 2022 FIFA World Cup Play-Off Semi-Final as they look to book their place in Qatar, with the winners due to face Scotland or Ukraine at home 5 days later. Wales finished second in their qualifying group behind Belgium whilst Austria finished a distant fourth in their group but made it to the play-offs thanks to their performance in the UEFA Nations League. The sides last met in a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier in September 2017, with Wales narrowly winning 1-0 at ? thanks to a goal from Ben Woodburn on his debut.
