The fourth largest cricket venue in England, Edgbaston is the home of Warwickshire County Cricket Club. The ground has hosted a number of Test Matches, One Day Internationals and Twenty20 Internationals, in particular the ICC Champions Trophy Final in 2013.

Edgbaston has also been the venue of the Twenty20 Cup finals day 10 times, including every year since 2013.

Four group matches at the 2019 Cricket World Cup and the semi-final in which England beat Australia, were held at Edgbaston.

Located in the affluent Birmingham surburb of Edgbaston, the ground is approximately 3.5 miles away from the City Centre.

Airport: Birmingham Airport is located approximately 10 miles east of Edgbaston. The Airport serves European destinations, as well as international destinations such as the Caribbean, India, Pakistan, Qatar and the UAE. There is a train station at the airport which connects to central Birmingham.

Bus: Bus 45 and 47 leaves from central Birmingham (Carrs Lane) and drops off just outside the ground at Pershore Road.

Coach: Birmingham Coach Station is close to the city centre, approximately 2 miles north of the ground, with bus number 35 heading to Edgbaston from the station.

Train: Birmingham New Street Station is the closest station, about 2 miles away. The biggest of Birmingham’s train stations, it serves many destinations across the UK including Bournemouth, Bristol Temple Meads, Cardiff Central, Edinburgh Waverley, Glasgow Central, Leicester, London Euston, Manchester Piccadilly, Newcastle, Nottingham, Oxford, Reading,  Sheffield and Southampton Central.

Birmingham’s other main stations, Moor Street and Snow Hill, are approximately 3 miles away from the ground.
