Italy v Wales – UEFA Euro 2020 Group A
Wales fly across Europe to Rome, to play their final group match of UEFA Euro 2020 against Italy. Italy have the advantage of playing all of their group matches on home soil at Stadio Olimpico and had a strong qualifying campaign, winning all 10 of their matches against the likes of Finland, Greece and Bosnia & Herzegovina.
The two sides haven’t met since September 2003 – a 4-0 UEFA Euro 2004 qualifying win for Italy at the San Siro, coming off the back of a historic 2-1 win for the Welsh at the Millennium Stadium (see below).

How do I get to the Stadio Olimpico?
Rome has two major airports: Leonardo da Vinci Airport – Fiumicino which is 40 km from the Stadio Olimpico, whilst Rome Ciampino Airport is 35km away.
From Leonardo da Vinci Airport, you will need to take a train to Termini central station, Tiburtina or Ostiense and then change to the subway as below. For Ciampino Airport, you will need to catch a bus to Termini station for the subway.
