Augusta National Golf Club is a private members club that opened in 1933. The world renowned club is highly exclusive and is famed for hosting the annual Masters Tournament since 1934.
The Masters Tournament is the first of the four major championships held each year in professional golf, taking place in the first full week of April and is the only major to be held at the same location each year. The tournament has a number of traditions, including the award of a green jacket to the champion.

The Augusta National Golf Club is located a few miles to the west of downtown Augusta. Augusta itself is approximately 140 miles to the east of Georgia’s largest city, Atlanta.
Air: Augusta Regional Airport is a small airport, located approximately 5 miles from Augusta that has several domestic flights to Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas and Washington. Alternatively Columbia Metropolitan Airport is just over 60 miles away and also has domestic flights to New York, Philadelphia, Washington (D.C.), Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston.
The closest international airports to Augusta is Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, one of the world’s busiest airports and offering flights across the world. It is located approximately 150 miles from Augusta and takes just over 2 hours to drive.

Driving/Parking – Free car parking is available on site at the Augusta National Golf Club. If driving from Atlanta or Points West take I-20 East towards Augusta, or if driving from Columbia, S.C. and Points East take I-20 West towards Augusta.
