Straight off the back of their tour of Sri Lanka, England cross the Bay of Bengal for their first tour of India since the winter of 2016 to play four test matches, five Twenty20 internationals and three ODI’s.
The tour will begin in Chennai, with the first two test matches at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium (pictured). The teams will then move 1,500 kilometres north to Ahmedabad, to play a further two test matches and the five match T20I series at the largest cricket stadium in the world – the 110,000 seater Sardar Patel Stadium. The tour concludes with a 3 match ODI series 600 kilometres south at the at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.
It was recently announced that matches will be allowed to take place with 50% capacity, so at least some fans will be able to enjoy the action. Click on each of the fixtures below for further information on travel, ticketing and venue information.
