The Indian Wells Tennis Garden is a tennis centre opened in 2000 that was purpose built to host the Indian Wells Masters/WTA Indian Wells Open (currently known as the BNP Paribas Open for sponsorship reasons).
The tournament is held across two weeks in early to mid March and is considered the biggest tournament outside of the four Grand Slam events, both in attendance and prestige.
The facility is home to 29 tennis courts, including the 16,100-seat Stadium 1 which makes it the second largest outdoor tennis stadium in the world. The 8,000 capacity Stadium 2 was added in 2014.
As well as tennis, the centre has hosted several NBA pre-season exhibition games all featuring the Phoenix Suns.
Capacity: 16,100 (Stadium 1) & 8,000 (Stadium 2)
Address: 78-200 Miles Ave, Indian Wells, CA 92210, United States
