The TPC Scottsdale golf complex opened in 1986 and is part of the PGA Tour’s Tournament Players Club (TPC).
The Stadium Course was originally built to host the PGA Tour’s Phoenix Open, an event it has hosted since 1987 with multiple winners at the course including Phil Mickleson and Vijay Singh. The event is one of the most popular and best attended events on the tour, the 16th hole in particular is known for its atmosphere.
The second course is the Champions Course, completed in 2007 and built to replace the former Desert Course.
