Wales Football Stadiums

Millennium Stadium

The Millennium Stadium in Cardiff with a capacity of 74,500 is the largest stadium in Wales, hosting the 2017 UEFA Champions League Final and the majority of Wales internationals’ between 1999 and 2009. However due to poor attendance figures, international matches were moved to the smaller Cardiff City Stadium or Swansea City’s Liberty Stadium. Other football stadiums in the country include Wrexham’s Racecourse Ground or Newport County’s Rodney Parade.
