Dnipro Arena (Dnipro)

Dnipro Arena

Dnipro Arena is a football stadium that opened in 2008 and has a current capacity of 31,003. The venue has been the home of Ukrainian Premier League side, SC-Dnipro 1 since 2019 after former tenants FC Dnipro went bankrupt.

In 2009, the stadium hosted the Ukrainian Cup Final in which Vorskla Poltava defeated Shakhtar Donetsk 1–0. Later that year, the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifier between Ukraine and England was played at Dnipro as the Olympic National Sports Complex Stadium in Kiev was being redeveloped ahead of UEFA Euro 2012, with the home side recording a famous 1-0 win.

The venue was considered for hosting UEFA Euro 2012 but wasn’t ultimately selected as it didn’t reach the minimum capacity quality of 33,000.
