Warner Park was established in 2006, just in time to host 6 matches at the 2007 Cricket World Cup. The ground has gone on to host various Test matches, One Day International’s and Twenty20 International’s for the West Indies.
The stadium is also home to the St Kitts and Navis Patriots in the Twenty20 Caribbean Premier League competition, as well as one of the home venues for the Leeward Islands. The cricket ground is part of a sporting complex that also includes the nation’s football stadium.

Location & Travel to Warner Park
The Warner Park Sport Complex is located right in the heart of the capital city of Basseterre.
Airport: The Robert L.Bradshaw International Airport (named after the first Premier of St Kitts & Nevis) is approximately a 10-15 minute drive from Basseterre. The airport is well served with flights to the UK, North America and a number of the other Caribbean islands.

Taxi: If staying within Basseterre, it is probably much simpler to walk rather than getting a taxi. However if travelling from elsewhere a taxi can be identified as its usually a minibus, with yellow licence plates beginning with a ‘T”. Always confirm the price beforehand.
Walk: Just to its proximity to central Basseterre, walking to Warner Park is simple enough. The simplest way to describe its location is to identify the towering floodlights and head towards them, or if starting at the Berkeley Memorial roundabout head North on Fort Street and you should spot the complex within 2 minutes on your right.
