Glamorgan County Cricket Club have been playing at Sophia Gardens since 1967, having moved from their previous home at Cardiff Arms Park.
Sophia Gardens hosted its first international cricket for the 1999 Cricket World Cup and has gone on to host both Test Matches and Twenty20 Internationals, as well as matches at the 2019 Cricket World Cup.

Bus: Bus numbers 25, 62 and 63 all travel between Cardiff Central Station and the closest station to the ground, Cathedral Road.

Train: Cardiff Central station is just a 15 minute walk from the ground. The station sits within the city centre and has services to Bath, Bristol, Birmingham, Gloucester, London Paddington, Manchester, Nottingham, Portsmouth, Southampton, Swansea and Taunton.
