Scotland v Slovakia – UEFA Nations League B Group 2

Scotland play their second home match in a matter of days, moving back to their UEFA Nations League campaign after playing Israel in the UEFA Euro 2020 play-off semi-final. They face Slovakia for just the third time in their history, the previous two encounters in the unsuccessful 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign. Slovakia winning the first match 3-0 in Trnava in October 2016 before Scotland edged a 1-0 victory at Hampden Park in October 2017 thanks to a late Martin Škrtel own goal (see below).
