2022 U.S. Open

The U.S. Open is the third of the four major championships held each year in professional golf. First held in 1895, the event is hosted by the United States Golf Association (USGA). Willie Anderson, Bobby Jones, Ben Hogan and Jack Nicklaus are the most successful players at the U.S. Open, having each won the event four times.
The U.S. Open is held annually in June, with the final round usually timed to finish on the third Sunday in June which is Father’s Day in the United States. The 2022 U.S. Open will be played between the 16th and 19th June 2022.
The event is held at a different course in the US each year. The 2022 U.S. Open will be played at the The Country Club in Brookline, Massachusetts for the fourth time after hosting the 1913, 1963 and 1988 events (see below).
