2021 Bahrain Grand Prix (Formula One)
March 26, 2021 - March 28, 2021
The 2021 Bahrain Grand Prix at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir hosts the opening round of the 2021 Formula One season. The race is usually held in March, however for 2020 it was moved to November due to the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. The 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix was one of the most dramatic in recent memory, with the race suspended for over an hour after Haas’ Romain Grosjean was involved in a serious accident which resulted in his car splitting in two and bursting into flames. The race was eventually won by Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes after he initially qualified on Pole, with the two Red Bull’s of Max Verstappen and Alex Albon finishing second and third.
