2020 ATP Finals
The ATP Finals are one of the most prestigious events on the ATP Tour and is played by the top-ranked professional players in Men’s tennis. ATP players compete through the year, earning ranking points with the top 8 singles players and 8 double teams qualifying. In both the Singles and Doubles event, the players participate in a round-round in 2 groups of 4, with the top 2 from each group progressing to a Semi-Final.
The ATP Finals were first held in 1970 in Tokyo with Stan Smith of the USA defeating the legendary Rod Laver. The most successful singles player is Roger Federer with six titles, whilst John McEnroe and Peter Fleming won a record seven doubles titles. The 2019 ATP Finals Singles champion was Greece’s Stefanos Tsitsipas, with Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Kristina Nicolas Mahut winning the Doubles title.
When are the 2020 ATP Finals?
The ATP Finals (currently known as the Nitto ATP Finals for sponsorship reasons) is played annually as the season ending event for the top Men’s players. The event is usually held in mid-November.
The 2020 ATP Finals will take place between Sunday 15th November and Sunday 22nd November 2020.
Where are the 2020 ATP Finals?
The ATP Finals has been played at numerous venues since its inception in 1970 but since 2009 have been be held at the O2 Arena in London, although the 2020 event will be the last played there.

From 2021 until 2025 the event will be played at the Pala Alpitour in Turin, Italy.

How do I get to the 2020 ATP Finals?
The O2 Arena is located on the Greenwich Peninsula in southeast London.
Airport
The two busiest airports in the UK serve London and between them have flights to most of the world’s prime destinations – Heathrow Airport is 21 miles west of The O2, with Gatwick Airport approximately 29 miles south of the arena.
Heathrow Airport sits on the London Underground Piccadilly line, you can change to the Jubilee line at Green Park to travel to The O2’s closest station at North Greenwich (see below). Or you can catch the Heathrow Express train to Paddington Station and use the Underground to reach North Greenwich from there.
From Gatwick Airport, you can use the Gatwick Express to reach Victoria Station and use the Underground to reach North Greenwich from there.
Alternatively London City Airport is on the DLR which runs to Greenwich station, or the Stansted Express runs from Stansted Airport to London Liverpool Street.

Bus
Bus routes 108, 129, 132, 161, 188, 422, 472 or 486 all stop at North Greenwich station, located next to The O2. The 188 is a bus service that runs direct from central London (via Waterloo) to North Greenwich station. Further bus information is available on the TFL website here.
Cable Car
The Emirates Air Line cable car is a novel way of crossing the Thames, running from the Royal Docks to the Greenwich Peninsula. Running every 30 seconds and a journey time of 10 minutes, adult fares start at £3.50 one way. Further information is available on the Emirates Air Line website here.

London Underground
The closest Underground station to The O2 is North Greenwich on the Jubilee Line, being a 20 minute journey from Central London or 10 minutes from Stratford. The station is directly adjacent to The O2. Further Tube information is available on the TFL website here.
Parking
There are 4 car parks available at The O2, although Car Park 1 is the only one that is available to pre-book for events at a cost of £25. Alternatively Car Parks 2,3 and 4 charge by the hour. For further information and to pre-book parking, click on the official O2 Arena website here.
River Bus
Another novel way of reaching The O2 is using London’s River Bus, with the North Greenwich Pier just 350 metres away. The River Bus runs every 20 minutes from piers in central London such as Embankment, London Eye and London Bridge. Further River Bus information is available on the TFL website here.
Train
The closest train station to The O2 is Charlton, with services to London Charing Cross, London Cannon Street and to Kent. From Charlton station you can catch the 161, 472, or 486 bus to North Greenwich underground station, taking around ten minutes.
From mainline station such as London Bridge, Waterloo or Stratford you can use the Jubilee Line on the Tube to reach North Greenwich.
The Eurostar from Belgium, France and the Netherlands runs to St Pancras International Station. From the nearby Kings Cross station, catch a tube to The O2 in 25 minutes.

How do I get tickets to the 2020 ATP Finals?
As it currently stands, the 2020 ATP Finals will take place behind closed doors due to the Covid-19 pandemic and spectators will not be allowed.
If tickets do go on sale again for the 2020 ATP Finals, they started at £18 for Children and £34 for Adults. Tickets were available to purchase on the official website here.
