England are set to tour Pakistan for the first time in 16 years, as they play a two match T20I series in Karachi just ahead of the 2021 T20 World Cup in neighbouring India later that month.
Both matches will be played at the National Stadium in Karachi on the 14th and 15th October 2021. The sides last played each other at the stadium as part of England’s last tour to the country in 2005, Pakistan winning the ODI by 165 runs. This will also be the first Twenty20 International between the two teams in Pakistan, with subsequent tours since the format became popular taking place either in England or Pakistan’s temporary home venues in the United Arab Emirates.
