The main stadium, known as the Kai Tak Stadium, has a seating capacity of 50,000 and features a retractable roof and a flexible pitch, making it an all-weather venue. Its facade, inspired by the “Pearl of the Orient,” is made of triangular aluminum panels that change colour with the light. The complex also includes the Kai Tak Arena, a 10,000-seat indoor venue, and the Kai Tak Youth Sports Ground with a 5,000-seat capacity, which includes a world-class athletics track.

The Kai Tak Sports Park has a packed calendar of major events, cementing its status as a regional hub for sports and entertainment.
- International Sporting Fixtures: The park will host major events like the Cathay/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens rugby tournament and will be one of the venues for the 15th National Games of the People’s Republic of China.

Getting to the Kai Tak Sports Park
The Kai Tak Sports Park is conveniently located and easily accessible via public transport.
By Air For international visitors, Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) is the main gateway. From the airport, the most common methods are taking a taxi or ride-sharing service (approx. 30-35 minutes) or using the Airport Express train. The Airport Express runs from HKIA to Kowloon Station, where you can transfer to the MTR to reach the sports park.
By MTR (Train) This is the most recommended way to get to the park. Take the Tuen Ma Line and alight at either Kai Tak Station or Sung Wong Toi Station. Both are a 5-10 minute walk from the complex. Kai Tak Station provides closer access to the Kai Tak Arena and Kai Tak Mall, while Sung Wong Toi Station is closer to the Kai Tak Stadium.
By Bus & Minibus The park is well-served by an extensive bus network. Over 60 bus routes and several minibus routes stop in the vicinity, including at Kowloon City Bus Interchange and Kowloon City Ferry Bus Terminus.
By Ferry Visitors can take the ferry from North Point to the Kowloon City Ferry Pier, which is a short walk from the sports park.
