Inverness Club, host of the 2021 Solheim Cup

The Inverness Club is a private golf club that was established in 1903 by local citizens of Toledo as a nine-hole golf course but was extended to 18 holes in 1915.

The club is the only to have hosted the U.S. Open, U.S. Amateur, U.S. Senior Open, and U.S. Junior Amateur Championships. Inverness has hosted the U.S. Open four times (1920, 1931, 1957 and 1979) and the PGA Championship twice (1986 and 1993).

The course hosted the LPGA Drive On Championship in July 2020 and will host the 17th edition of the Solheim Cup in September 2021.

Driving directions from Turnpike: Exit 59: Follow exit ramp to TOLEDO (NOT Maumee) To Reynolds Rd. (Route 20); (veer right) onto Reynolds Rd. Turn Right on Heatherdowns Blvd, Stranahan will be on your right side, just down the road.

Driving directions from Downtown Toledo: Follow Route 24 (Anthony Wayne Trail) to Cass Rd. (Maumee) Turn Right. Stranahan sits at the Corner of Cass Rd. and Heatherdowns Blvd.

Parking during the 2021 Solheim Cup: General parking is available at Stranahan Theater (4645 Heatherdowns Blvd Toledo, OH 43614), with weekly passes costing $50 and available to purchase online. Daily passes are not available online and will only be available on site, costing $10. Shuttle buses take you to the Inverness Club, with a journey time of 12 minutes.
