Den Dreef (Leuven)

Den Dreef (currently known as King Power at Den Dreef for sponsorship reasons) is the home of OH Leuven. The club have played at the stadium since their formation in 2002, after a merger between the town’s three lower league teams – Zwarte Duivels Oud-Heverle, K. Stade Leuven and K. Daring Club Leuven.

With the club’s gradual progression through the leagues up to the Belgian Pro League, Den Dreef has been renovated several times with new stands and the removal of the running track.

Both the Belgium women’s national team (known as the Red Flames) and the men’s under 21 national team currently use Den Dreef as their home stadium.

OH Leuven: Tickets for OH Leuven matches are available to purchase online or at the office at the stadium. Tickets are generally available to purchase from the office on the day for most matches from 90 minutes before kick-off.

Belgium women’s & men’s under-21 national football team: Tickets for Belgium international matches are available to purchase through the official website.


Location & Travel to Den Dreef

Den Dreef is located in the Heverlee suburb of Leuven, approximately 2 kilometres south of the centre. Brussels, the capital of Belgium is just 25 kilometres away.

Airport: The closest international airport to Leuven is Brussels Airport. It is the largest and busiest airport in Belgium, with a number of flights across Europe, North America, Asia and Africa. The airport is about 20 kilometres west of the stadium, you can either catch the direct train service to Leuven or bus  616, 652 or 651.

Other nearby airport include Brussels South Charleroi Airport (50 kilometres away), Antwerp Airport (60 kilometres away) or Liege Airport (70 kilometes away).

Bus: Bus 1, 2 and 616 all run close to the stadium from Leuven.

Train: Leuven railway station has services across Belgium, including Bruges, Brussels and Liege. The station is about 2.5 kilometres from the stadium, which is a 30 minute walk or you can catch bus 1 or 2.
