Scotland v Israel – UEFA Euro 2020 Path C Play-off Semi-final
October 8, 2020 @ 7:45 pm BST
Having failed to qualify for UEFA Euro 2020 in the conventional method, Scotland and Israel must fight it out in the play-offs to secure qualification. Whoever wins the semi-final at Hampden Park will play a Final on the 12th November 2020 away to either Norway or Serbia. Despite having a difficult time in their qualifying group, Scotland must go into the match with confidence – the last time these sides met in November 2018 in their UEFA Nations League, Scotland won 3-2 thanks to a James Forrest hat-trick (see below).
The Scotland v Israel match was due to be played on the 26th March 2020, however was postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic and will now take place on the 8th October 2020.
