Northern Ireland get their 2020-21 UEFA Nations League campaign underway with an away match in Romania. The last away trip for Northern Ireland to Romania was a UEFA Euro 2016 qualifier in November 2014 at the Arena Națională in Bucharest, losing 2-0.

It appears that all UEFA Nations League matches in September will take place behind closed doors.
Tickets for Northern Ireland fans will only available to Campaign Card holders, further information for purchasing tickets to this match will be available on the Irish FA website.
Travel Information
Henri Coandă International Airport is Romania’s busiest airport, situated 16.5 kilometres north of Bucharest city centre. The airport has flights on offer across Europe, as well as several destinations in the Middle East.
From the airport, you can take the express bus to central Bucharest for 3,5 lei:
- Gara de Nord (the main rail station of Bucharest) – Line 780
- Băneasa Shopping Center – Line 782
- City center (Unirea Square) – Lines 783 and 784
Alternatively, a new rail station has opened 900 metres from the airport, with a journey time of 20 minutes to Gara de Nord (the main rail station of Bucharest). You can reach the airport station via shuttle bus from the arrivals hall, with tickets costing 6,8 lei.
