2020 UCI Road World Championships

The UCI Road World Championships is the annual world championship of bicycle road racing, consisting of both the road race and individual time trial. Events are competed for by national teams, with the winner of each event being able to wear the prestigious rainbow jersey in races within that category over the next year.

The 2020 UCI Road World Championship were due to take place in the Aigle and Martigny area in Switzerland but this was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. A condensed event with just Elite Women’s and Men’s time trials and road events will now be taking place in Imola, Italy.
