The Abu Dhabi Golf Championship (currently known as the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship for sponsorship reasons) is a European Tour golf tournament, one of the Rolex Series that makes it one of the tour’s premier events. It has therefore attracted a strong field with former winners including Martin Kaymer (three time winner), Tommy Fleetwood (two time winner) and Paul Casey (two time winner).
The current champion is Lee Westwood of England, winning the 2020 tournament with a score of 19 under par.

Airport – The Abu Dhabi International Airport is the second largest in the UAE, being the hub for the country’s second flag carrier – Etihad Airways. There are over 30 airlines that offer flights to over 120 destinations in 60 countries from the airport.
The airport is about 20 kilometres east of the Abu Dhabi Golf Club and can be reached by car in 15-20 minutes.
Driving & Parking – There is an array of parking space at the golf club, lying not far off the E10 or E22 highway when driving from central Abu Dhabi.
Taxi – A taxi ride from central Abu Dhabi to the stadium will cost around 50 AED and take 15-20 minutes.

For the 2020 tournament, tickets started from Dhs50 and under 18s were free. The latest ticket information will be available on the official website.
