SUMMARY:2020 UCI Road World Championships
DESCRIPTION:The UCI Road World Championships is the annual world championship of bicycle road racing\, consisting of both the road race and individual time trial. Events are competed for by national teams\, with the winner of each event being able to wear the prestigious rainbow jersey in races within that category over the next year. \n\n \nThe 2020 UCI Road World Championship were due to take place in the Aigle and Martigny area in Switzerland but this was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. A condensed event with just Elite Women’s and Men’s time trials and road events will now be taking place in Imola\, Italy.

SUMMARY:2020 Tour de France
DESCRIPTION:The 107th edition of the Tour de France will see the Grand Départ take place in Nice\, the second time the city has hosted the start of the Tour (the other being 1981). The 2019 race was won by the Colombian\, Egan Bernal (see below) who won the title from his Team Ineos teammate\, Geraint Thomas who finished in second place. \nThe 2020 Tour was originally due to take place between the 27th June and 19th July 2020\, however was put back to later in the year due to the Coronavirus pandemic and will now take between the 29th August and 20th September 2020. \n\n2020 Tour de France Route\nThe 2020 route has been unveiled\, with the Grand Départ in Nice.
