SUMMARY:2021 UCI Road World Championships
DESCRIPTION:The 2021 UCI Road World Championships is the annual world championship of bicycle road racing\, consisting of both the road race and individual time trial. Events are competed for by national teams\, with the winner of each event being able to wear the prestigious rainbow jersey in races within that category over the next year. \n\nWhen is the 2021 UCI Road World Championships?\nThe UCI Road World Championship takes place every year\, usually held in September after the Vuelta a España. The 2021 UCI Road World Championship event will be held between the 19th and 26th September 2021. \n\nWhere is the 2021 UCI Road World Championships?\nThe UCI Road World Championships are held in a different city or region each year. The 2021 Championships are to be held in the Flanders region of Belgium\, the seventh time the region has hosted the championships. The last being in 2002 when Italy’s Mario Cipollini won the race (see the end of this page). DESCRIPTION:The Ryder Cup is a men’s team golf competition between Europe and the USA\, first held in 1927. The current champions are Europe\, having won the 2018 Ryder Cup 17½-10½ at Le Golf National in Paris\, France. The next edition was due to be held in 2020 between the 25th – 27th September 2020\, however this was postponed by a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The next edition will therefore take place between the 24th and 26th September 2021. \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat is the format of the Ryder Cup?\n\n\n\nThe Ryder Cup takes place between a team of 12 golfers from Europe and 12 from the USA. On the Friday and Saturday\, there are 4 fourballs matches in the morning and 4 foursomes matches in the afternoon. On the Sunday\, there are 12 singles matches with all of the players taking part. Each match is played for one point\, with the winner of the Ryder Cup being the team which scores most points.
